Job Description
The Role: Manufacturing Support Team Leader
Location: Greenford
Salary: £22k p/a
The Role
Job Purpose:
The primary responsibility will be to manage all incoming technical equipment and systems within the technical support department and through resolving personnel, material and process problems on a day to day basis, meet the sections CLS targets with respect to output, quality and Health and Safety.
Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Section supervision and control of resources to meet day to day targets whilst working to meet CLS requirements.
Ensuring that assigned section activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures and standards ensuring high quality output.
Working with other section leaders such as engineering, buyers etc and other staff where required on matters relating to day to day activities within assigned section.
Champion continuous improvement within the section and support initiatives to improve delivery times, cost, quality and eliminate waste.
Maintaining a high level of awareness and commitment to Safety, Health and Environment aspects of work, ensuring that appropriate personal protective equipment is utilised and that Company Health and Safety procedures are complied with.
Organise and manage transport for UK delivery of all equipment
Asset tracking of equipment on site, in service and repair.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
ONC, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline.
A minimum of 3 years site or equivalent experience within a manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy and be familiar with basic Microsoft Excel and be able to interface appropriately with the business ERP and MyView systems.
A knowledge of the FRACAS system and be able to process defect returns to supplier.
