Job Description
Field / Office Based Support Engineer - South West London
Shepperton, Middlesex - 5 minutes from Junction 1 of the M3
We are a successful IT services company seeking a Support Engineer to split their time between onsite service at client offices and remote support from our office in Shepperton.
The salary level for this role is from £22,500 to £27,000 including performance related bonuses and depending upon skills and experience.
The role is ideal for an engineer starting out in their career with more than 5 years of experience with a thorough understanding of networking and servers. It will enable the successful applicant to develop their technical skills and improve their qualifications.
Requirements
You should have a proven knowledge of:
· Windows desktop operating systems
· Windows Server 2003 and SBS 2003
· Active Directory
· Exchange
· Backup Exec
We would expect you to have at least 2 MCPs. Candidates with Mac and Blackberry experience will be favourably considered. While technical skills are important you must have proven communication and customer service experience.
Applicants must be within 1 hours travel distance from our Shepperton office near junction 1 of the M3.
