Job Description
Our client, a global Building Services consultancy, are currently looking for an experienced M&E Desing Manager to join their Building Services division working on projects across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Public, Residential etc.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Technical evaluation of designs, specs and drawings
* Oversee and advise on industry trends and changes that need to be made accordingly
* Provide technical direction on design systems and projects
* Manage any outsourced design companies that they are working in conjuction with
* Manage small in-house M&E design department
* Approve technical equipment before ordering to ensure it aligns with project spec and design
* Audit projects and suggest changes where it can be more efficient
The ideal candidate will:
* Be from a consultancy and design background with knowledge of the contractor side
* Have broad and in-depth knowledge of the Building Services industry
* Have real thorough knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems
* Be qualified to Degree level with either Chartership or working towards Chartership
