Full Description:

A great new vacancy has become available for a Group Financial Analyst for an international company based in South Kent. The purpose of your role is to be proactive in the analysis and reporting of appropriate data to support the business in decision making and management of the business.

The job will require you to be an experienced finance professional, self-motivated, who enjoys being part of a small high-achieving Finance team, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding but supportive environment, and most importantly can build creditable positive relationships with the key stakeholders in the business.

Responsibilities:

Self Management

 To embed the company’s competencies and values into everyday activities and promote the company culture.
 To develop and maintain positive relationships with the key stakeholders internally and externally.
 Consistently maintain a professional approach in day to day activities
 To ensure effective and appropriate communication at all levels within the company.
 Ensure activities completed are fully compliant with company policies, procedures, financial standards and legal requirements.
 Report on activities and provide relevant management information.
 To maintain high standards of probity and confidentiality.
 Ensure effective and appropriate communication.

Finance

Group Financial Reporting:
 Monthly Group Consolidation
 Board Reports
 Analytical Reporting
 Budget/Forecasting process control

Business Performance Database Administration
 Lead Finance liaison on upgrade implementation and reporting enhancements.
 First line advisor/trainer to Finance team on database protocols and processes.

Business Development
 Direct analytical support to Senior Board members.
 Development and Evaluation of business case models

Skills and experience required:

 CIMA (or equivalent) with post qualification experience
 Highly developed computer skills with proven database administration experience
 Advanced Excel skills
Excellent financial/commercial understanding
