An opportunity exists to make a huge impact within my Client\'s growing team. Specifically, we are looking for a Consultant to become an integral part of my client\'s Professional Services division. This is an Accounting Consulting role and we need people with good external reporting experience. This is a client facing role leveraging your accounting experience and reporting experience. Ideally you will have exposure in the following: Preparing annual reports and accounts, Submissions to Company\'s House or the London Stock Exchange, Preparing SEC submissions (10K & 10Q), Preparing financial press releases and Preparing internal Board packs. Responsibilities: * Execute project deliverables within allotted time and based on requirements * Maintain and improve technical and business skill set * Work in a supportive manner with project team members * Consulting (Implementation) o Assist with installing and configuring software o Assist with building relational and OLAP databases, and writing and testing calculations o Extract, transform and load data into both OLAP and relational databases o Verify data loaded into OLAP and relational databases o Build and test templates and reports o Document and communicate project status regularly to the Project Lead * Client Relations o Resolve customer issues in a timely and responsive manner o Escalate customer issues that are unresolved to the Project Team Lead o Build and foster strong client relationships during the implementation; gaining credibility and trust o Assist other departments on as needed basis including performing software quality assurance and product support tasks * Training o Provide detailed training and support to both internal groups and to external clients o Create and maintain learning paths for customers and internal classes Qualifications: * Ability to create complex formulas, macros and sophisticated formatting in Microsoft Excel * Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and oral * Strong presentation and public speaking skills * Strong problem solving ability * Must have a good understanding of Financial Reporting Concepts. * Understanding of basic accounting principles, terms and processes will be an asset * Experience with budgeting and financial consolidation considered an asset. * Experience in building and using OLAP databases considered an asset.
