Job Description
Maths based Research Engineer position leading the investigation of cutting edge techniques for mathematical functions bringing you into contact with technology that won\'t be on the shelf for another 2-3 years. Suitable Mathematicians will have an interest in generating innovative implementations of mathematical functions for computation. Position: Mathematician/Research engineer
Location: Hertfordshire 20 min commute from Euston (Central London)
Salary: £25-35k

Key Skills:
Maths, excellent academic background, algorithms, floating point arithmetic, software engineer experience with C or C++
Desirable skills: adders, multipliers, hardware, Matlab, search algorithms, complexity theory.
Due to the complexity of this role suitable candidates will have achieved A grades in GCSE & A level Maths and a 1st class or 2.1 degree in Mathematics (or very similar). A PhD or MSc qualification is highly likely.
