Job Description

We are currently looking for qualified Skills for Life coaches to work at the Ford plant in Dagenham, Essex on a fixed term contract until December 2010. The salary is £28,000 to £30,000 pa. Tribal provides consultancy, support and delivery services focused on improving the quality of public services. This includes the delivery and management of Skills for Life learning leading to nationally accredited qualifications.

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced and qualified Skills for Life practitioners specialising in ICT, Numeracy or Literacy to join our team working on an exciting project with the Ford Motor Company in Dagenham. The project aims to contribute to Ford\'s continual business improvement and efficiency by improving the literacy, language, numeracy and ICT skills of their workforce.

You will work in partnership with management, unions and NVQ assessors to identify and engage with potential Skills for Life learners and deliver Skills for Life learning on the production line and encourage learners to work for Skills for Life qualifications where appropriate.

Applicants should be able to work on their own initiative and previous experience of delivery in workplace settings would be desirable. Some flexibility in the working week is essential.

All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced CRB disclosure.

The position is based at the Ford Motor Company\'s Dagenham Engine Plant and is on a fixed term basis which is due to end on approximately 17 December 2010.
