Job Description

A leading private equity backed media company based in London is looking for a Credit Controller Manager to join their busy office. The role will be responsible for all aspects of credit control/sales ledger and will report directly to the Finance Director. The successful candidate will also be expected to add real value to the organisation though the development and improvement to current processes, systems and procedures.

This is an exciting role for the right candidate at a time of substantial change and great growth opportunities for the company.

Your main responsibilities would include:

• Chase 500-600 live accounts for outstanding debts by phone, letter and fax.

• Produce weekly department invoices schedules and updates.

• Produce weekly list of clients/customers with balances over 60 days.

• Devise pre-season payment planes for customers.

• Relay any sales-related queries to Sales staff and monitor.

• When authorised forward correspondence to Solicitors to instigate proceedings against customers.

• Keep detailed and update a log of chase history.

• Create aged-debtors reports.

• Produce weekly customer account analysis on problem customers.

• Update post dated cheque schedule.

You must be an excellent communicator and have a proven track within credit control. You will also have excellent working knowledge of sap as well as demonstrable experience in reviewing, documenting and implementing credit policies. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £45K plus excellent benefits.
