Job Description
Working for leading bank, this is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team in a high profile Head of IT Finance - Service Delivery. As a highly commercial and strategically focused finance professional, you will be responsible for a £500m operating budget managing a team of approximately 40.
Key responsibilities:
Building an effective & collaborative strategic alliance with senior IT and business executives.
Provide value adding analysis and decision support to Service Delivery.
Driving an effective commercial strategy for the Service Delivery function balancing commercial needs of the business.
Assisting Service Delivery in fulfilling rigorous financial control, interpreting financial governance and making sure that Finance is easy to deal with.
Ensuring that management information is consistent and fit for purpose.
Ensuring all financial targets met - including cost/procurement challenges - including ideas to accelerate/exceed target.
Providing effective Financial control for a large & highly complex integration programme on behalf of the Service Delivery Director.
Ensuring the delivery of core infrastructure synergy savings (in excess of 50% of the total savings targeted by the Group IT) through the integration of multiple heritage IT systems and processes.
Providing leadership to a team of 40 and to act as a coach to communicate and achieve the Service Delivery Finance teams objectives and vision.
Driving transformational change across a cross heritage team to create one Service Delivery Finance team.
Working closely with the Financial Controller of Group IT.
