Job Description
A new venture between 2 leading financial organisations has arisen and in this new role you will have overall responsibility for Development, Test and Production databases, as well as mentoring and support of existing Oracle DBA resources. Looking for 8-10 years plus overall DBA experience using 9i/10g/11g in a high-availability Production environment, along with at least 2 years of parallel experience in setting up and maintaining Production Oracle RAC environments on 9i/10/11g, setting up and maintaining Data Guard, SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN back up,s trong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control and the Oracle GRID Infrastructure,Unix Shell scripting,Oracle Application Server Infrastructure, Mid-tier and BI components good knowledge of storage management, preferably NetApp. This is a senior Director level role for a seasoned Oracle professional - It is very much a hands on role so someone who still gets their hands dirty on a daily basis is going to be perfect.
